Topic: [Theme] BootPanel 1.4

Hello, everyone. Im here to show off my first theme. Its simple and easy to use. BootPanel is a responsive bootstrap panel theme. I have based BootPanel off of the AdminLTE port so you will notice a similarity when it comes to tables and lists. In the future,  I plan on removing Admin LTE and replacing it with a native bootstrap style. I have posted  BootPanel on GitHub  if anyone is interested in making it better. The HTML formatting is off a little due to the way I compile the pages together.

Features:

  • Reponsive Design

  • Light Weight

  • User-Friendly

  • Easy To Customize

  • JavaScript config

  • Open Source

Reporting Errors:
I can provide support here or on GitHub. When reporting an error please supply a screenshot and the url of your cpanel. If you are not comfortable posting it public you can PM it to me. Thank you in advance.

Open Source:
BootPanel is open source under the MIT license which means you can take its code and change it to what ever you want and give it away under a new name as long as you leave my credit in the license.

Re: [Theme] BootPanel 1.4

Good Luck but it doesn't worth to do anything for the crappy Youhosting right now unless they update their system.

Maximum size 400 characters long and 4 lines high.

Sure the platforms current state is bad, but its free what else can you expect? Plus if this big update does come out, I will work on updating to the new update.

You kinda have me confused on what you mean there.

Sounds great. I think more members will be willing to use the theme if they can actually interact with it.

Re: [Theme] BootPanel 1.4

Updated to Version 1.1.x
Version 1.1 features bug fixes, loading intro, pace bar, and more AdminLTE elements removed. JavaScript has been moved to the footer. AdminLTE styling is now in its own css file and the deafult required youhosting css has been moved to the custom css file. When upgrading overwrite all files!

Demo is now avaliable! Refer to the first post for more info. For the next update (1.2) im going to try and add status bars, redesign the information sidebars, and optimize the load time. Feel free to fork it on GitHub!

Looks absolutely EPIC! Congratulations on the great design. One small thing I noticed is that if you click on the notification alerts then you get a popup labeled "undefined". Also, that "You are using an outdated browser" is really annoying. Does that come up in the download as well?

EDIT: I noticed the loading bar on the top is animated to go to the left. It would sort of fit better if it moved to the right since it also loads to the right, if you know what I mean. smile

That I will look into. Im guesing its the Bootstrap without JQuery.

No that is not included in the download. Its just a Cloudflare app. I noticed cloudflare helps big time on reducing the ammount of load on the YouHosting servers. What browser are you using?

Nice catch there! I'll update that next time I have an update to push to GitHub!

Google Chrome. It's not outdated.

Thanks glad you like it. Still needs alot more work however. Im debating weather or not I should remove the AdminLTE tables and buttons and go for a more native Bootstrap look. Plus I have not been able to identify where the undefined error is comming from. Im beginning to think its an issue with the functions.js or the outdated jquery the CPanel uses.

Edit: After more research I can now say I am sure its the outdated functions.js file. I will look into updating it.
Update: It was the functions.js file. It was using a deprecated method and the modal plugin was a bit dated. Im going to mess around with it some more and see what I get.
Update 2: I found the problem and have made some modifications to the functions.js. I have published my chages here for the community to use. With the modifications you can now use newer jQuery verions. I will update this theme to use the new functions.js soon.

Re: [Theme] BootPanel 1.4

Updated to Version 1.2
Version 1.2 includes a major improvement to the engine and now has support for a config file so you do not have to keep putting your config back when updating. Other features include a faster load time and support for my uFunctions.js to support newer Jquery versions. I have also added a new faster way for JavaScript to load your custom config. This version of BootPanel depends heavily on the engine.js file, so be sure to upload it somewhere with high uptime and speed. Im planning on creating a version that will be hosted on my CDN. Ill keep everyone informed on this. View the first post for download info.

Im not sure if I should add more features or not. I think I have finaly got the panel to a point where I am proud to leave it standing now. Of course I will still do bug fixes and respond to user input. Enjoy smile

Re: [Theme] BootPanel 1.4

That is because the engine.js is not loading. If the engine.js where to load you would see the information fill and the loading intro to fade out. Would you mind to give me the url to your cpanel so I can look at this further.

Re: [Theme] BootPanel 1.4

Is there a way to edit the messages like "We have updated our name servers! Please view the detials section of your dashboard for more info on how to update them. The update will be effective Friday 6/16/2015 at 11:00pm PST. If you are a new memeber you may dismiss the message as you do not have to worry about this." that appear at the top of the page?

Re: [Theme] BootPanel 1.4

If you are using the latest version you should be able to change this by editing the config.js file.
